lily came home from school with this fine specimen yesterday. it might be the saddest piece of 'art' ever to arrive at my doorstep. not only is there just one half-hearted swipe of a purple crayon on the ENTIRE page, but they spelled her name wrong (as they do on every single thing they send home).
i'm guessing its ok to toss this one in the trash... :)

I'm annoyed for you with that mispelling (it certainly doesn't have anything to do with us maybe, possibly, definitely naming our little one something along the lines of... Lily! No.) It drives me nuts when people misspell names:( It won't be long until she can tell her teachers "That's not how you spell my name" hehe.
Have you read Harold and the Purple Crayon? I think this is hilarious artwork and should totally be captioned "Lily and the Purple Crayon".
Wow. Not like Lily is that hard a name to spell.
at least her teacher didn't print her shower napkins with the totally incorrect name- lilliana. her favorite aunt did. :(
