busy. busy busy busy. life as a gerbil on a wheel is about to get a bit more furiously fast since thursday is our last with the two big 'uns in school until next september *tears*

i'm not sure what we are going to do all summer but swim lessons are next week and hopefully we will be able to get in some quality pool time, cool off in the museums, and take a few fun trips. any suggestions or ideas to make the summer fly by are welcomed :)

If you have great ideas (generalizable to other ideas, of course), let me know! I'm terrified of the summer as Cole already seems bored when it's just the T/TH he's "off" each week!

You've got to come up with a weekly schedule - like "Mondays we go to Park A, Tuesdays we go to Park B, Wednesdays we swim, etc." Making each day different is the key to getting through.

My friend just shared this site and it is awesome. After we get back from vacation in late July we will be up for long distance play dates if you want to try the north life a bit.

This is the list of free splash pads

Oh momma, I know just what you mean. Nate currently goes to school Mondays and Wednesdays, and he is very much a go, go, go type kid who loves activity and hates being at home. I know we would both be going crazy this summer if I didn't figure out something, so I found a preschool (not the one we normally go to) that offers summer preschool. So he's going there on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then he is also doing two week long gymnastics camps (9am - 2pm) during his two "off" weeks from preschool. Sometimes I feel guilty like I'm overscheduling him, but I really think he much prefers having lots of activities.

Good luck!!
